Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Email address — when you mint a trial key, create a dashboard account, or subscribe. Used to attach keys to you, surface them in your dashboard, and contact you about your account.
• API keys and usage — we store keys as SHA-256 hashes (the plaintext is shown once and never kept) and count requests per key for metering, quotas, and abuse prevention.
• IP-derived rate buckets — signup and the public docs demo key are metered per network prefix to prevent abuse. These buckets hold counters, not browsing history.
• Nothing else. No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies on these sites, and we never see your card number.

2. Processors we rely on

• Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, and the Turnstile anti-bot check on signup (Turnstile evaluates browser signals; we only receive pass/fail).
• Clerk — dashboard sign-in (email and OAuth identities live with Clerk; we receive your verified email).
• Stripe — payments (card details go directly to Stripe; we receive subscription status and the billing email).
• Google Fonts — the docs page loads fonts from Google's CDN; your browser's request to Google is subject to Google's privacy policy.
• jsDelivr — the docs page loads its reference UI (Scalar) from the jsDelivr CDN; your browser's request to jsDelivr is subject to jsDelivr's privacy policy.

3. Retention

Key records — name, key-prefix, the email they are attached to, and their usage rollups — are kept while the key exists and after revocation, so your dashboard's key history and our abuse and billing audit trails stay accurate. The plaintext key itself is never stored (only its SHA-256 hash). Ask us to delete your data (or delete your account) and we remove the email and account linkage from your key records; billing records are retained as required by tax law.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we share it only with the processors above, to comply with law, or to protect the Service from abuse.

5. Your rights

Email info@kingskode.dev to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. We answer within 30 days.

6. Changes

Material changes to this policy are announced on this page before they take effect.
